Please choose from our set barbecue menus where the price is inclusive of 3salad choices, French bread, relishes and dressings.

Whilst we are able to be flexible on the set menu choices i.e. we could swop a sausage for a burger on menu 3, we are unable to mix set menu choices (apart from vegetarian) in one barbecue party. This means that apart from vegetarians all guests would eat from the same menu choice.

If you have any children attending your party and wish to choose from the set menus, we will be happy to discuss the cost of children's choices when you arrange your event.

BARBECUE MENU 4 £11.20

1 Vegetarian Burger, 1 Spicy Bean Grill, 1 Vegetable and Cheese bake and 1 Quorn Sausage

Please Note: Due to problems barbecuing vegetarian products, all vegetarian grills, sausages and burgers will be flash fried before being finished off on the barbecue.


PIG ROAST

£22.50 per head

Please note the minimum number for a Pig Roast is 50 persons

For a completely different type of menu why not try one of our Pig Roasts.

This will be cooked on the premises and ready for you on your arrival, we would then carve in front of your party.

The pig roast is accompanied by rolls, potatoes, two salads from our selection and sauces.

The price of a Pig Roast is based on the market price of meat. Should the cost of pork rise dramatically we would unfortunately have to increase our costs accordingly.

Wherever possible our pork is sourced from local farms

7. Crooked Vine Syrah Rosé- Vin de Pays d'Oc - France - Full pink colour with bright red berry fruits and a rich creamy texture on the palate

10. Isabelo Merlot (A Fairtrade Wine) - South Africa - Soft and fruity with a berry fruit character and smooth tannins

11. Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Vigneti di Montegradella - Sartori - Italy - A premium Valpolicella. Intense red colour, fruity aromas and a slightly spicy finish. Aged for 12 months in oaked casks

12. Orvalaiz Tempranillo - Navarra - Spain - A vibrant fruity wine with a touch of oak. elegant and gentle.

13. Otra Vida Malbec - Mendoza - Argentina - A Powerful wine with ripe plum and cherry fruit, soft tannins And a lingering finish. IWC 2005 Silver Medal Best in Class

If a particular wine or shipper is not available, a suitable alternative will be offered. All quality wines on this list have an alcohol content of between 8% and 15% by volume.

Arrangements are made by us contacting the group of your choice and booking the date with them. They will then contact you direct with a booking form and payment is made direct to them.

 

Please Note.

 

All music at your Barbecue will have to cease at 11.00p.m. There can be no exceptions to this rule as it is laid down by the Local Authority.

Also we cannot arrange music for Tuesday or Sunday evenings as we have Jazz Bands performing in the main bar in these nights.

There may be occasional Saturday evenings where we have live music.


BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS

 

A deposit of £5.00 per person is required to secure the booking. We would prefer the balance of payment on the night of the function, but are able to invoice you where prior arrangements have been made

Your choice of menu and wine selection should be confirmed at least two weeks prior to the barbecue, together with approximate numbers. Final numbers should be given to us no later than six days before; this will be taken as the minimum number to be charged on the final account. Any additions will be charged for accordingly.

If you require us to arrange your evening entertainment it is advisable to make arrangements as early as possible to avoid disappointment. The cost will vary as to the type of entertainment required.

In the event of cancellation of any booking, we reserve the right to retain the deposit. However, we will do our utmost to re-let your reservation, in the event of which your deposit or part there-of will be returned.

We reserve the right to charge a fee in the event of a cancellation less than 15 days prior to the barbecue. All cancellations must be made in writing.

We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused to the Trout Inn or property thereof.

We can accept no responsibility for the property of guests at the Trout Inn. All items are left on our property at the owner’s risk.
